Project 1: Reducing Barriers for Persons with Disabilities.
Project Objective:
This project aims to identify and reduce social, institutional, and community barriers faced by persons with disabilities, including those with lived experience in the criminal justice system.
Project Status:
Project under development — currently in the research, community consultation, and program design phase.
Approach:
1- Identification of access barriers
2- Consultations with affected individuals and community organizations
3- Development of an inclusive and accessible intervention model
4- Preparation for phased implementation, subject to funding
Project 2: Pathways Hub – Post-Trauma Intervention Research & Development
Pathways Hub:
The Pathways Hub project is a research and practice-development initiative focused on understanding and supporting the trajectories of individuals affected by complex trauma, including:
1- Justice-involved individuals
2- Veterans
3- Refugee adult, children and youth
Objective
To develop culturally responsive, evidence-informed post-trauma intervention approaches tailored to the specific realities of each group.
Project Status:
Initiative in development, focused on needs assessment, literature review, expert consultation, and community engagement.
